PUTTING A LIFETIME OF LOCAL KNOWLEDGE TO WORK FOR OUR CLIENTS with a personal, hometown touch.
Our heartfelt congratulations to Molly Spino
on her election as Mayor of the City of Torrington!
Kelly Law Offices will miss her greatly but are comforted knowing the residents of Torrington are in great hands with Mayor Molly!
What is now Kelly Law Offices began in 1998, when James G. Kelly opened his solo practice in Washington Depot. A product of Washington, and having already recently moved back there with his wife Joanne and their young family, his dream to also work where they lived came to life with the mentorship and support of five extraordinary local residents: The Hon. Walter “Jed” Pickett, Jr, of Litchfield Superior Court; P. Lincoln “Linc” Cornell, the pre-eminent local attorney at the time; Dennis Hussey, owner of Parks Drug Store; and David and Carolyn Klemm, the founders of Klemm Real Estate.
With a focus on providing first rate legal services to the diverse and sophisticated residents in Litchfield County, Kelly Law Offices today puts over 25 years of local knowledge to work for its clients in four primary practice areas: Real Estate transactions, Land Use Permitting, Estate Planning, and Trust and Probate Administration.
